Air Filtration

The air we breathe is full of microscopic particles, which can be health hazardous to and are thus considered as a specific type of air pollution. Air filtration is basically the process of separating dispersed particles from air by means of porous media. To overcome this, we have developed and innovated multiple products under two different categories and technologies to deal with the rising poor air-quality index globally and to ensure safe indoor environment, which are as follows:

Purification

To remove contaminants from the air in a room to improve indoor air quality.

Deodorization

To remove odour present in the atmosphere caused by both chemical and physical sources.

Applications

Water Filtration

Filtration systems are used most often in home water treatment to remove sediment or iron, manganese, or sulphur particles. Filtration can also remove some bacteria from water. In mechanical filtration systems, water passes through a medium such as cloth or sand. Particles become trapped on the surface of or within the medium. The pore size, or space between media granules or fibres, determines what size particles a filter can remove

Purification

Water purification is the process of removing undesirable chemicals, biological contaminants, suspended solids, and gases from water.

Mineralization

level of water pollution has made it difficult for drinking water to be consumed without filtration. While the process not only pollutants but also the essential minerals are removed from the water. This innovative technology of ECP can provide a solution for this issue as it is possible to add required minerals externally.

Dye-degradation

Through dye degradation we aim to make sure that the polluted water containing dye and pigments is cured and the same water can be used again and again, which may help us in saving water

Water Softeners/washing machine filter

Hard water contains a high rate of mineral content, which is formed when water penetrates through deposits of limestone and chalk. Hard water contains a large percentage of calcium and magnesium carbonates. One the most common indicators of hard water is lack of lather when water is used with soap. Water hardness is a big concern and an effective solution is using a water softener, which helps in removing calcium and magnesium ions from the water. Our water Hardness Removal Filter comes with unique water purification technology which not only helps in removing water hardness, but also gets rid of bacteria, Chlorine and fluoride from the water and hence make it healthier.

Odour Absorbtion

An odour or odour is caused by one or more volatilized chemical compounds that are generally found in low concentrations that humans and animals can perceive by their sense of smell. Our sense of smell is very sensitive. Here we aim to adsorb the odour generated produced from food and sweat which is generally caused due to bacterial out growth.

Shoes are most important part of an individual’s attire which provides style, comfort, safety to the feet. Due to hectic life style, people have become prone to use shoes for very longer working hours. Wearing socks and shoes cause moist environment due to epidermal perspiration, where bacteria and fungi can generate and flourish. ECP’s shoe insole aims to provide people odour less and clean feet.
The food usually contains oil, ghee, water etc. which get evaporated during the cooking process in the microwave. The moisture and small volatile molecules also known as VOCs get accumulated on the inner surfaces of microwave. This continuous accumulation will ruin the internal surface coating of microwave’s walls also it may help microbes to grow there. To maintain the aesthetic appearance and hygiene of inner environment of a microwave during cooking, it becomes very important to deodorize the microwave oven on regular basis.

Applications

Sound Insulation

Sound insulation is a kind of measure to prevent the sound waves from permeating. It is demonstrated by the sound transmission loss which is expressed by the difference of decibels between the incident sound and permeated sound.

The higher the numeral is, the better the sound insulating property is. ECP’s activated carbon based unique sound insulation product not only works well for high frequency absorption but also works very well for low frequency and bass absorption.

Applications

Cold-chain storage solution

Most of warehouses and cold stores follow conventional methods to increase the shelf life of fruits and vegetables. The temperature and humidity of cold storage are kept low in presence of Nitrogen and Sulphur gases circulation, but such methods have several disadvantages like changing the natural properties of fruits and vegetables. Now a days the ethylene absorbents are being used to deal with such problem, but the commercially available products use potassium permanganate in their composition which is carcinogenic in nature.

To overcome this, ECP-Refrigerator deodorizer has come-up with multifunctional filter which is effective for common and overlooked refrigerator problems like ethylene absorption, harmful contaminants generated by ROS (reactive oxygen species), bad odour, humidity and growth of food borne bacteria.
